The crane hook latch enables the crane operator to freeze out the hand to insert the load attachment into the hook or remove the load attachment from the hook, thereby reducing the risk of the finger, hands, or back injury.
How does it work?
The latch trigger is easy to set to keep the latch in the open position. As the sling, unloading or other attachments are inserted into the hook or removed from the hook, the trigger is released, the latch is closed, and the operator does not need to further operate. If it is used properly, the latch trigger can reduce or eliminate the tendency of the operator to use tape, zip ties or other temporary fasteners to interfere with the latch, thereby promoting a safer and faster load settings.
